Lake Jacomo
Lake Jacomo is a reservoir in Jackson County, Missouri, created by the damming of the Little Blue River. It covers 2,912 acres (1,179 ha) and has 27 miles (43 km) of shoreline. It is the largest lake in Jackson County and the second largest in the Kansas City metropolitan area. The lake is named after Jacob Haight, an early settler in the area.
The lake is a popular recreation destination for boating, fishing, and swimming. It is home to two marinas, several parks, and a beach. The lake is stocked with fish including bass, crappie, and catfish.
