Mozingo Lake
Mozingo Lake is a man-made lake in northwest Missouri. It was created in the early 1970s by the construction of a dam on the One Hundred and Two River. The lake is approximately 3,000 acres in size and has a maximum depth of 60 feet. It is a popular recreation spot for boating, fishing, and swimming.
The lake is home to a variety of fish species, including bass, crappie, catfish, and sunfish. It is also a popular destination for bird watching, as it is home to a variety of waterfowl, including ducks and geese.
Mozingo Lake is located just a short drive from the city of St. Joseph, making it a popular destination for day trips and weekend getaways. There are a number of campgrounds and lodges located around the lake, as well as a number of restaurants and bars.
